MoUs Signed

SFAL has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Meerkats HeatCrafters Pvt Ltd, a Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup founded by Ms Sonali Tatke and Mr Aashish Manocha, focused on developing nano-engineered thermal management solutions for electronics and semiconductor applications. Meerkats HeatCrafters works at the intersection of nanoscience, materials engineering, and hardware innovation, addressing critical challenges related to heat dissipation, reliability, and performance in next-generation electronic systems. Their work on advanced thermal interface materials and heat-dissipating compounds aligns closely with the evolving needs of the semiconductor and hardware ecosystem. Through this MoU, the collaboration aims to support technology development, innovation, and ecosystem enablement in semiconductor and hardware technologies. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening indigenous innovation and advancing high-impact, application-driven solutions for the electronics industry.

At Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025, Semiconductor Fabless Accelerator Lab (SFAL) and Akeana signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a key milestone in strengthening SFAL’s partner ecosystem. Akeana is a venture-funded semiconductor IP company delivering high-performance RISC-V processor and system IP solutions for next-generation computing applications. Through this collaboration, SFAL-affiliated startups will gain access to advanced RISC-V technologies, enabling faster innovation and scalable product development. Together, SFAL and Akeana aim to contribute to the advancement of India’s growing semiconductor industry by enabling innovation, strengthening technical capabilities, and accelerating the adoption of open, high-performance RISC-V architectures.
