SFAL Day 2025, held on January 17th in Bengaluru, brought together over 90 key stakeholders from across the semiconductor ecosystem, including industry leaders, funding organizations, and strategic partners. The event served as a pivotal platform to showcase innovations, explore funding opportunities, and celebrate the success stories of the SFAL community. The agenda featured an engaging lineup of sessions addressing critical themes in the semiconductor landscape. A key highlight was the unveiling of SFAL 2.0 by CEO Mr Sridhar Kaip, who shared an ambitious vision and strategic roadmap aimed at driving future growth and innovation within the ecosystem. Adding to the significance of the day, the event welcomed Smt. Parnika Pavanram, Assistant Commissioner, KAS, and GM-ESDM, who represented the Government of Karnataka. Her address reiterated the state government’s steadfast support for SFAL 2.0 and its initiatives to bolster the semiconductor sector in Karnataka. The event concluded with the prestigious Jury Awards, recognizing exemplary contributions and innovations within the SFAL ecosystem. Mr. K Sridhar, Director of SFAL, participated in a panel discussion at the Semiconductor Ecosystem Conference organized by the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture, Pune (MCCIA) on October 10, 2025. As part of the panel on “Beyond Fabs: Driving Semiconductor Self-Reliance,” Mr. Kaip shared his insights on building a resilient and innovation-driven semiconductor ecosystem for India. The conference focused on exploring the opportunities, challenges, and pathways shaping the next era of electronics manufacturing, bringing together key leaders from industry, academia, and government to discuss the future of India’s semiconductor journey.
